After months of speculation and hype, Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has unveiled the Vivo X90 series. As previously reported, the series consists of three smartphones: Vivo X90 vanilla, Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+. While all models in the camera-focused series feature Zeiss branding, only one model features a Snapdragon chipset, while the rest run on a Dimensity SoC. Here’s everything we know about the new Vivo smartphones, their specs, and how much they cost.

Talking about the battery of the smartphone, it has a maximum capacity of 4,810mAh which supports up to 120W wired fast charging via a Type-C port. With an in-display fingerprint scanner, the smartphone supports Bluetooth v5.3 and Wi -Fi 6.

Vivo X90 Pro specifications and price
Vivo X90 Pro has the same display, processor and battery as the Vivo X90. However, Vivo X90 Pro has a different camera system. The model has a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear panel.
The Vivo X90 Pro is available in three storage models including the 8/256GB variant which costs CNY 4,999, equivalent to Rs. 57,000. Then there’s the 12/256GB variant which costs CNY 5,499, or around Rs. 62,000. Last but not least, the 12/512GB variant costs around Rs. 68,000. Also, the smartphone is available in two colors – Original Black and China Red.
Specifications and price of Vivo X90 Pro+
The top-of-the-line Vivo X90 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO4 display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It has a slightly higher pixel resolution than the other two models in the series. Under the hood, the Vivo X90 Pro+ is the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ also features a quad rear camera system. The camera system contains a 50.3MP main sensor, a 64MP pericope lens with up to 3.5x optical zoom, a 50MP telephoto lens with up to 2x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. At the front, the smartphone has the same 32MP sensor as the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro.
Furthermore, the Vivo X90 Pro+ has a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging. The slower charging speed would ensure that the processor does not overheat. The Vivo X90 Pro+ is only available in two storage models: 12/256GB for CNY 6,499 (equivalent to Rs. 74,000) and 12/512GB for CNY 6,999 (equivalent to Rs. 80,000). While the Vivo X90 series is not available in India, the company is expected to launch it in the country soon.
